“Without a doubt, this is the biggest show we put on in the Philippines,” said Loren Mack, One Championship’s vice president for public relations, during the pre-fight press conference at the City of Dreams Grand Ballroom on Tuesday.

In the main event, Eduard Folayang stakes his One lightweight title against Ev Ting, and for the former, a huge pressure is mounted on him as he has to defend the belt in front of his fellow Filipinos.

“As a champion, napakabigat ng kinakarga ko ngayon,” said Folayang.

But for the challenger, he sees a classic that could go the full five rounds considering that both fighters are well-rounded.

“It’s (going to be) a dog fight,” vowed Ting.

In the said press conference, One formally announced one of two adjustments to the fight card.

Christian Lee will now take on Wa Jian Ping after Keanu Subba, Lee’s supposed opponent, suffered an injury during training.

“I just wish (Subba) a speedy recovery and on to the next,” Lee told PNA in a separate interview.

As announced last week, Honorio Banario now has a new opponent in Jaroslav Jartim following Rob Lisita’s decision to attend to personal matters.
