Rodrigo Duterte and Vice Pres. Leni Robredo and urged both their supporters to stop being divisive.<\/p>\n<p>Sen. Joseph Victor Ejercito said that he believes that impeaching the country\u2019s top officials will only cause \u201cpolitical instability.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>I am against the impeachment of both Pres. Rodrigo Duterte and Vice Pres. Leni Robredo. This will just cause political instability. This is destructive for the economy,\u201d Ejercito said.<\/p>\n<p>He urged supporters of both camps to instead work together.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cImpeachment processes are both destructive and divisive. Instead of pulling each other down, why don&#8217;t we just work together, for the better?\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p>Sen. Paolo Benigno Aquino IV also said that both Pres. Duterte and Vice Pres. Robredo have also denied being involved in plots to impeach each other so such rumors should be a thing of the past.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhen Pres. Duterte said he is not involved, I believe him. The same way VP Leni is not involved in having Pres. impeached,\u201d Aquino said.<\/p>\n<p>He noted that it was really just their supporters who seemingly wanted to make an issue out of these reports.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere are really just groups that want them to fight, make it a cockfight for our President and Vice President,\u201d Aquino said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c&#8230;The Vice President already said she had nothing to do with the impeachment of Pres. Duterte. The President already said he is not involved in the impeachment of Vice President Leni.
