LOS ANGELES\u2014Rita Ora is out and Tyra Banks is back in as the host of TV’s \u201cAmerica’s Next Top Model.\u201d<\/p>\n

VH1 announced Thursday that Banks will return to the reality show next season. Production is set to begin this summer.<\/p>\n

Banks created \u201cAmerica’s Next Top Model\u201d in 2003 and served as both executive producer and host until last year, when Ora was named the new host.<\/p>\n

Fellow executive producer Ken Mok said Thursday that Banks’ absence was \u201cdeeply felt\u201d by the show’s fans.<\/p>\n

Banks said they inspired her to \u201chave a change of heart\u201d and return as host.<\/p>\n

Banks is also the new face of \u201cAmerica’s Got Talent.\u201d<\/p>\n

NBC announced earlier this week that she will replace former host Nick Cannon when the show returns this summer.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
