(Photo: <a href=\"http:\/\/www3.lenovo.com\">Lenovo<\/a>)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>MANILA\u2013Technology firm Lenovo launched on Wednesday its ThinkPad units designed for professionals on the go.<\/p>\n<p>This ThinkPad lineup was powered by Intel\u2019s 7th Generation Kaby Lake processor, which features new graphics architecture to improve 3D graphics performance and video playback. Kaby Lake also has a higher frequencies, and features faster CPU clock speeds.<\/p>\n<p>Being powered by Kaby Lake makes this lineup suitable for architects, 3D animators, graphic designers, engineers, among other professionals according to Lenovo.<\/p>\n<p>The ThinkPads E470, T470, X270, ThinkStation P410, Lenovo V310 and MIIX 510 were all designed to equip professionals with a device that has longer battery life of up to 21 hours.<\/p>\n<p>During the launch, Lenovo representative highlighted that even if these units are light and sleek, these portable devices are equipped with much storage and users can expect high performance.<\/p>\n<p>In terms of security, the lineup features Face Tracking (using Windows Hello), wherein users can just smile in front of the camera to unlock the device.<\/p>\n<p>Users who tend to multi-task may look forward to the performance-heavy tasks that the lineup can do such as 3D and video rendering.<\/p>\n<p>The upgraded graphics core is also capable of video streaming in 4K quality.<\/p>\n<p>Lenovo said it recognizes that more people are becoming mobile. \u201cTo strive in this ever-growing digitized world, we need to be both flexible and agile,\u201d the company noted.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, other features included the lineup are the premium TouchPad for a more consistent trackpad user experience, and Windows 10 which was preloaded with Microsoft Signature Image to ensure a clean and fast system.<\/p>\n<p>Lenovo said the ThinkPad lineup went through rigorous testing, including durability tests on humidity, low temperature, high vibration and high altitude.<\/p>\n<p>The E470, V310 and T470 are currently available in the Philippine.
