(Photo: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/pnp.pio\/photos\/a.656275274413732.1073741903.462115693829692\/1429383027102949\/?type=3&amp;amp;theater\">Philippine National Police\/Facebook<\/a>)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>MANILA\u2014Philippine National Police (PNP) chief Director General Ronald \u201cBato\u201d Dela Rosa on Tuesday said that he leaves it up to the Senate the investigation into the alleged Davao Death Squad (DDS).<\/p>\n<p>\u201dIpaubaya na natin sa Senado dahil ongoing yung investigation (Let\u2019s leave it up to the Senate because the investigation is ongoing),\u201d Dela Rosa said in an ambush interview.<\/p>\n<p>Likewise, the PNP chief said that he would not comment on the testimony of SPO3 (retired) Arthur Lascanas about the alleged existence of the DDS, adding that, he would not preempt the Senate investigation.<\/p>\n<p>\u201dKung ipapatawag ako doon (Senado), mahirap na ipreempt yung investigation ng Senado (If I would be summoned by the Senate, it\u2019s difficult to preempt the Senate investigation),\u201d Dela Rosa said.<\/p>\n<p>The PNP chief stressed that if he would be summoned by the Senate, that\u2019s the time that he would comment on the matter.<\/p>\n<p>\u201dHindi natin alam kung ipapatawag pa tayo. Hintayin na lang natin kung ipatawag tayo. Doon na lang tayo magbigay ng comment (I don\u2019t know if they would summon me. Let\u2019s just wait if we\u2019ll be summoned by the Senate.
