Dania won the Lieutenant Governor\u2019s Historical Literacy Award.<\/p>\n

The Lieutenant Governor\u2019s Historical Literacy Award is presented to a student at each of the Regional Heritage Fairs put on by the British Columbia Heritage Fairs Society. The Award is presented to a student who demonstrates exemplary writing skills in a short story that engages the historical imagination. The story must be original work, based on a real person, place, time or event involving Canadians or Canada. The story may be presented in English or French at any grade level.<\/p>\n

Michael and Vedanshi were two out of five students who received the BC Heritage Fair Society Stellar Achievement Award for demonstrating exceptional enthusiasm for their topic and history, and a willingness to share this passion with their peers and the community.<\/p>\n

Dania Rashid (from the previous photo), was also a recipient of the BC Heritage Fair Society Stellar Achievement Award.<\/p>\n
