Based on data from Kantar Media last Thursday (May 1), \u201cIkaw Lamang\u2019s\u201d episode, where Gonzalo (John Estrada) stopped the supposed wedding of Coco Martin and Kim Chiu\u2019s characters Samuel and Isabelle, got a national TV rating of 29.7%. It scored almost 14 points higher than its rival program in GMA \u201cCarmela\u201d which only got 16.1%. <\/span><\/p>\n

Because of the intensifying scenes in \u2018The Wedding\u2019 episode, netizens also flooded the popular microblogging site Twitter with emotional tweets, and made the hashtag #IkawLamangTilDeathDoUsPart and the names of the characters Samuel, Isabelle, Franco (Jake Cuenca), and Gonzalo (John Estrada) nationwide trending topics. <\/span><\/p>\n
