Though she didn\u2019t get the crown, she plans to join again, not just anytime soon.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Entering showbiz<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cI think, being only 20, I need to get out there and experience a lot of things first and kind of grow up and mature,\u201d she said in an interview with Yahoo! Philippines.<\/p>\n<p>Mariel&#8217;s finish as one of the 15 semi-finalists in last year&#8217;s Binibining Pilipinas was indeed a decent performance for an apprentice.<\/p>\n<p>The 5-foot-9 showbiz royalty is now taking up acting workshops with ABS-CBN. Though she is pressured to follow the footsteps of her\u00a0 parents, she is lucky that she has supportive parents.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTatay (Christopher) and I never want you to be compared and identified with us. I love you more than life itself,&#8221; Sandy said.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><em>With report from Yahoo!
