MANILA, Philippines\u2014Miss Universe 2015 Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach will pass down the crown on Monday after a year of reign. While she may be stepping down her throne, Pia\u2019s life after reign wouldn\u2019t be far from the organization that crowned her Miss Universe.<\/p>\n

Pia is set to return to New York to fulfill her new role as ambassador of the Miss Universe Organization.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m ready to pass on the crown to the new winner, and I\u2019m happy and relieved that I\u2019ll still be working closely with the organization even after I pass on the crown. I\u2019m excited because I\u2019m ready to move forward,\u201d Pia said in an interview with ABS-CBN News.<\/p>\n

But before that, Pia will devote her time in fulfilling commitments to brands that she endorses.<\/p>\n

She will also be flying to neighboring Asian countries for Asia\u2019s Next Top Model where she will appear as one of the judges of the Asian franchise of the hit American reality television series.<\/p>\n

The 27 year-old beauty queen also plans to spend time with her family whom she had been away from since her move to New York City.<\/p>\n

She also plans to auction off some of the clothing she has accumulated during her reign.<\/p>\n

Reflecting on her journey as Miss Universe, Pia said: \u201cI think I did my job pretty well. A lot of people would have opinions and say \u2018You should have done more of this and less of that. It should have been this way or that way.\u2019 Or \u2018You\u2019re not acting like a beauty queen parang naglalaro ka lang.<\/em> But the thing is I answer to my bosses at Miss Universe and if they\u2019re happy then that\u2019s all that matters to me. I know I\u2019m going in the right direction.\u201d<\/p>\n
