Joseph Victor &#8220;JV&#8221; Ejercito on Tuesday asked senators belonging to the Liberal Party (LP) to make a decision whether to stay in the Senate supermajority bloc or transfer to the minority.<\/p>\n<p>Ejercito made this remark after noticing how the LP senators usually voted against the majority bloc in making decisions in plenary sessions.<\/p>\n<p>All five of the LP senators namely Paolo Benigno \u201cBam\u201d Aquino, Leila de Lima, Franklin Drilon, Risa Hontiveros, and Francis \u201cKiko\u201d Pangilinan joined the majority bloc.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;They&#8217;re the majority but most of the time they vote against the majority,&#8221; Ejercito told reporters in an interview.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;You cannot just go on that\u2026join the benefits of being in the majority but on the same time we are also attacking and hitting and going against the majority.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>He said that the lines should be drawn in terms of the LP senator\u2019s membership in the majority bloc.<\/p>\n<p>The senator meanwhile reiterated support for Pres. Rodrigo Duterte and Senate President Aquilino \u201cKoko\u201d Pimentel III, both members of the Partido Demokratiko Pilipino-Lakas ng Bayan (PDP-Laban) party.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>MANILA \u2013Sen.
