Benigno Aquino III<\/em><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Manila, Philippines \u2014 In a recent Pulse Asia survey, Pres. Benigno Aquino\u2019s administration got the approval of more than 50% of Filipinos on the issues of fighting criminality and increasing peace in the country, gaining a Net Approval Rating (NAR) of +46 (59% approve, 28% undecided, 13% disapprove) and +40 (52% approve, 36% undecided, 12% disapprove), respectively.<\/p>\n<p>However, the present administration failed to get the nod of most of the respondents on the following issues:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>On the issue of enforcing the law on all, whether influential or ordinary people \u2013 +37 (50% approve, 37% undecided, 13% disapprove).<\/li>\n<li>On defending the integrity of Philippine territory against foreigners \u2013 +34 (48% approve, 38% undecided, 14% disapprove).<\/li>\n<li>On fighting graft and corruption in government \u2013 +31 (50% approve, 30% undecided, 19% disapprove).<\/li>\n<li>On stopping the destruction and abuse of our environment \u2013 +30 (48% approve, 34% undecided, 18% disapprove).<\/li>\n<li>On creating more jobs \u2013 +20 (41% approve, 29% undecided, 21% disapprove),<\/li>\n<li>On controlling fast population growth \u2013 +19 (40% approve, 39% undecided, 21% disapprove).<\/li>\n<li>On improving\/increasing the pay of workers \u2013 +15 (38% approve, 39% undecided, 23% disapprove).<\/li>\n<li>On reducing the poverty of many Filipinos \u2013 +4 (30% approve, 43% undecided, 26% disapprove).<\/li>\n<li>On controlling inflation \u2013 -8 (26% approve, 40% undecided, 34% disapprove).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The survey was conducted last March 19-26, 2014, with 1,200 respondents.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Photo: Facebook Page of Pres.
