I made a conscious choice not to talk about the paternity of my daughter in order to protect the privacy of Ellie,\u201d Eigenmann says in a statement.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAlthough she was born into a showbiz family, as a mother, I would like to shield her from the intrigues and gossip that are part of the industry. Growing up, Ellie knew who her father was and he has been there for her, and that\u2019s all that matters,\u201d she continues.<\/p>\n<p>Eigenmann\u2019s daughter has been back in the limelight when her half-sister Max Eigenmann confirmed in the radio program \u201cGood Times With Mo\u201d that Jake Ejercito was indeed Ellie\u2019s biological father.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe (Ejercito) is the father of my niece\u2026 They did a (DNA) test\u2026 He\u2019s the dad,\u201d Max told disc jockey Mo Twister. \u201cThey\u2019re co-parenting.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>It can be recalled that it was in 2011 when Eigenmann got pregnant.
