MANILA \u2013 Although they haven\u2019t reignited the romance between them just yet, Bea Alonzo admitted spending some time with former beau Gerald Anderson even after they already finished taping for their recent romantic film \u201cHow To Be Yours.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are just really enjoying each other\u2019s company\u2026 Lagi kaming nagkikita<\/em>. Masaya kapag nagkikita kami<\/em>. Hanggang doon muna<\/em>, I guess. Kung magiging kami, hindi ko alam,\u201d Alonzo said in an interview with ABS-CBN News.<\/p>\n

Although the on-screen couple went out with friends, fans noticed how the two seemed exceptionally sweet \u2013 noting how they were romantically linked in 2010.<\/p>\n

Seeing where this rekindled friendship may take them, Alonzo couldn\u2019t deny how Anderson makes her see herself as a better person and pushes her to do things she never thought she could do.<\/p>\n

\u201cFirst time ko mag-hike in my life<\/em>. Kasama ko friends niya, friends ko<\/em>,\u201d she shared about their recent hiking trip. \u201cI guess, it\u2019s safe to say na nilalabas niya \u2018yung other side of me<\/em>. It\u2019s very interesting to know na there\u2019s another side of me na I haven\u2019t discovered before and he helps me discover that side<\/em>.\u201d<\/p>\n

The 28-year-old actress also admired the kind of man Anderson came to be.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe is so passionate in helping others. I have never been close to a person na ganoon ka-genuine and ka-passionate sa pagtulong sa iba ang pag-improve ng sarili niya for the country and the people<\/em>,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

\u201cSabi ko nga, alam mo pwede kang mag-politika<\/em>. Pero ayaw niya talaga<\/em>. Masasabi ko talaga sa kanya iyon kasi genuinely I think napakamatulungin niyang tao<\/em>. Kapag nakikita ko iyon, parang nagugulat ako and you don\u2019t always meet people like that<\/em>. I didn\u2019t see that before in him<\/em>,\u201d she added.<\/p>\n
