MANILA \u2013 Celebrity couple Jason Francisco and Melai Cantiveros called it quits after almost three years of marriage.<\/p>\n

In a series of Instagram posts, Francisco detailed how his relationship with Cantiveros turned sour in the recent weeks.<\/p>\n

According to the 28-year-old actor, their rift started when his wife accepted a role with a leading man in the now defunct series \u201cWe Will Survive\u201d despite their initial agreement not to take acting roles with partners.<\/p>\n

\u201cDahil po kami may usapan na sa bagay-bagay para \u2018di maapektuhan ang aming marriage at pagmamahalan<\/em>,\u201d Francisco wrote. \u201cPero bakit baga ako ay palagi may nararamdaman na kaba at parang may tinatago ang asawa ko sa\u2019kin<\/em>? Hanggang sa isang araw, nakapanood ako ng serye niya<\/em>. Ito na pala \u2018yung kaba ko<\/em>. \u2018Yun pala naiba na ang storya<\/em>. Almost two months na bago ko pa nalaman<\/em>\u2026 Hanggang nag-usap na po kaming mag-asawa bakit nagkaganon<\/em>.\u201d<\/p>\n

(Because we already have an agreement on some matters so that our marriage and love for each other will not be affected\u2026 But why is it that I always feel anxious, like my wife is hiding something from me? Until one day, I\u2019ve been able to watch an episode of her series. I found out the reason for my anxiousness. The series\u2019 story was altered. It took almost two months before I learned about it\u2026 It came to a point when we talked about it as a married couple, how it ended that way.)<\/p>\n

\u201cDumating ang punto na nanlalamig na kaming mag-asawa sa isa\u2019t-isa<\/em>, \u2018di na nagpapansinan sa bahay<\/em>. Hanggang sa ako\u2019y sa kabilang kwarto na natutulog<\/em>. Almost two months na kaming ganoon<\/em>. Ako\u2019y iyak ng iyak parati<\/em>. \u2018Di pa ako nakaranas ng ganoong iyak sa buong buhay ko<\/em>, sa lungkot na nangyayari sa\u2019min<\/em>. Hanggang sa dumating na parati na kaming nag-aaway<\/em>\u2026 Dahil po ako ay nakakaramdam din naman ng selos, siyempre po asawa ko po \u2018yun<\/em>.\u201d<\/p>\n

(It came to a point when we already gave each other the cold shoulder, not acknowledging each other\u2019s presence at home. I started sleeping in another room. We have been like that for almost two months already. I just kept on crying. I have not cried that much in my whole life, the sadness that\u2019s engulfing us. It came to a point when our fights became frequent\u2026 Because I also feel jealousy, of course she\u2019s my wife.)<\/p>\n

Unable to settle their issues, the two decided to end their relationship.<\/p>\n

\u201cNagkahiwalay na po kami<\/em>. Wala na po ang Melason<\/em>. OA (over acting) po ako magmahal sa asawa ko dahil \u2018di po ako showbiz eh<\/em>. Sa akin lang ay dapat may isinasangalang-alang ka dahil po iba-iba po tayo ng sitwasyon sa buhay<\/em>.\u201d<\/p>\n

(We have separated already. There is no \u2018Melason\u2019 anymore. I\u2019m OA when it comes to loving my wife because I\u2019m not the typical kind of guy in \u2018showbiz.\u2019 For me, you should be firm on your stand because we have different situations in life.)<\/p>\n
