(PNA photo)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>MANILA \u2013 Most Filipinos expect President Rodrigo Duterte to fulfill \u201cmost\u201d of his promises, latest survey by independent pollster Social Weather Stations (SWS) bared.<\/p>\n<p>The survey first published by BusinessWorld showed that 41 percent of the 1,200 respondents expect the president \u201cto fulfill most of the promises\u201d while 22 percent expect him to make good \u201call or nearly all of the promises.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Thirty-two percent of respondents said they expect \u201ca few\u201d promises would be fulfilled, 1 percent said \u201calmost none or none,\u201d while 3 percent could not answer.<\/p>\n<p>Done through face-to-face interviews, the survey was conducted from June 24-27 ahead of President Duterte\u2019s June 30 inauguration. The results were released on July 25, the day President Duterte delivered his first State of the Nation Address.<\/p>\n<p>Among geographical areas, optimism was highest in Mindanao where Pres. Duterte hails, at 75 percent (49 percent said \u201cmost\u201d promises would be fulfilled while 26 percent said \u201call or nearly all\u201d).<\/p>\n<p>The National Capital Region followed with 66 percent (24 percent \u201call or nearly all\u201d and 42 percent \u201cmost\u201d); 60 percent in \u201cBalance Luzon\u201d (22 percent \u201call or nearly all,\u201d 38 percent \u201cmost\u201d) and 54 percent in the Visayas (18 percent \u201call or nearly all,\u201d 36 percent \u201cmost\u201d).<\/p>\n<p>Across social classes, 69 percent of the respondents belonging to Class ABC, 65 percent of those in E and 63 percent of those in D said Pres.
