Kristine Hermosa, one of the industry\u2019s best dramatic actresses, is making a TV comeback after taking time off to attend to her growing family.<\/p>\n

But this time, Kristine finds herself doing comedy as she joins the wacky cast of GMA Network\u2019s newest sitcom, Hay, Bahay!, topbilled by Philippine showbiz\u2019 biggest names in comedy Vic Sotto and Ai Ai delas Alas.<\/p>\n

She confesses that aside from her yearning to become a hands-on mom, she has always wanted to do a comedy show. \u201cNapagod na ako. Taon-taon dati na parang in a year, nakakailang drama ako. Sa movie, drama rin. Na-burn out na rin siguro. Isa pa, if I do drama again, pag-uwi ko sa bahay, ano pang lakas ang mabibigay ko sa mga anak ko? Gusto ko talaga na hands-on pa rin ako sa mga bata kahit na I have work e. Tsaka gusto ko naman na talaga mag-comedy since then e. Kahit nung nagda-drama pa lang ako [I got tired. Before, I would do so many dramas series in a year. In movies, it would also be a drama. I guess I got burnt out. Another reason is, if I do drama again, when I get home, what other strength would I be able to give for my kids? I really want to be hands-on with them even if I have work. And I\u2019ve always wanted to do comedy ever since. Even when I was still doing dramas],\u201d shares Kristine, who is currently pregnant with her fourth child.<\/p>\n

In Hay, Bahay!, Kristine portrays the role of Batch, the loving wife of Yoyo, played by her real-life husband Oyo Boy Sotto. The fun and crazy antics begin when the couple moves into their newly-purchased home in a prime location, which they were able to buy at a very low price.<\/p>\n

But there\u2019s a catch. The previous owners of the spacious three-bedroom abode had mistakenly built only one bathroom. In order to support the cost of the necessary renovations, they decide to rent out the two extra rooms.<\/p>\n

Enter cleanliness-obsessed food blogger and bachelor Vio (Vic Sotto) and painfully sloppy and untidy events coordinator Lav (Ai-Ai delas Alas), whose polar personalities give rise to a zany series of plots to evict each other.<\/p>\n

Joining Vic, Ai Ai, Kristine and Oyo are the comedic duo Jose Manalo as Vio\u2019s cousin Mael, and Wally Bayola as Lav\u2019s half-brother, aspiring comedian Sikat, and Ruby Rodriguez as Batch\u2019s meddling mother Nenuca.<\/p>\n
