MANILA \u2013 Unlike other celebrities, model-beauty queen Patricia Tumulak has long been vocal about undergoing cosmetic surgery and has even referred customers to her doctor.<\/p>\n

\u201cProud po ako<\/em>\u2026 I was once an ugly duckling\u2026 As long as masaya ka sa result, may pag-asa ang siyensiya<\/em>\u2026Kung masaya ka<\/em>, hindi naman nagbago ang attitude mo sa life mo<\/em>, hindi ka matapobre<\/em>,\u201d she said in a PEP.ph report.<\/p>\n

(I\u2019m proud\u2026 I was once an ugly duckling\u2026 As long as you\u2019re happy with the result, there\u2019s hope in science\u2026 If you\u2019re happy, your attitude towards life didn\u2019t change, you don\u2019t look down on other people, [it\u2019s okay].)<\/p>\n

\u201cKapag may nagtatanong talaga<\/em>, proud ako na<\/em>, \u2018Yan talaga ako Day<\/em>!\u2019 May picture pa nga ako<\/em>\u2026 Malaki talaga ang ilong ko<\/em>, tinrim siya<\/em>,\u201dshe added.<\/p>\n

(If someone asks, I\u2019m proud and say, \u2018That\u2019s me!\u2019 I even have a photo [of my old self]\u2026 I had a huge nose, it was trimmed.)<\/p>\n

Although proud of her enhancements, Patricia understood why other celebrities would rather not talk about theirs.<\/p>\n

\u201cMay choice sila kung gusto nilang i-deny<\/em>\u2026 Pero mas ikauunlad ng doctor kung ire-refer nila<\/em>! Ang dami ko nang na-refer sa doctor ko<\/em>\u2026 Dapat binibigyan niya na ko ng [komisyon]<\/em>!\u201d she quipped.<\/p>\n

(They have a choice should they want to deny\u2026 But it\u2019ll be good for the doctor if they give referrals! I have referred many to my doctor. I should be given commissions already!)<\/p>\n

\u201cProud talaga ako<\/em>. Pero minsang nga<\/em>, sabi ng manager ko<\/em>, \u2018Huwag mo naming idiretso<\/em>, kapag tinanong ka na lang<\/em>\u2026 E<\/em>, minsan<\/em>, inuunahan ko na<\/em>,\u201d she added.<\/p>\n
