MANILA \u2013 It\u2019s official! Kapamilya actor Paul Jake Castillo already popped the question to girlfriend Kaye Abad who gave a resounding yes.<\/p>\n

The celebrity couple started as friends before becoming romantically linked in May 2014. They have then been engaged for marriage after Abad\u2019s 34th birthday-party-turned-engagement-party yesterday night at Bellevue Hotel in Alabang.<\/p>\n

While the actress was enjoying the night with her family and friends, Castillo surprised her by kneeling in front of her and holding out the engagement ring as he asked her hand for marriage.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe started off as friends, tapos naging partner in crime kita<\/em>, best friend, tapos hindi mo talaga napigilan, ginawa mo akong boyfriend<\/em>. Now, I\u2019d like to seal it. Will you marry me?\u201d he asked while still on his knees.<\/p>\n

(We started off as friends, then you became my partner in crime, best friend, and then you really couldn\u2019t help it, you made me your boyfriend. Now, I\u2019d like to seal it. Will you marry me?)<\/p>\n

With tears streaming down her face, Abad nodded, smiled and muttered a \u201cyes.\u201d The two then shared an embrace.<\/p>\n
