DAVAO CITY \u2013 Presidential aspirant Mayor Rodrigo Duterte offered a hand of reconciliation to his presidential opponents and other candidates and \u201clet us begin the national healing now.\u201d<\/p>\n

In his talk with members of the press at the Duterte-Cayetano Media Center, Duterte called out to presidential aspirants Vice President Jejomar Binay, Senator Grace Poe, former Interior secretary Mar Roxas and Senator Miriam Defensor-Santiago including Senator Antonio Trillanes, who have filed plunder charges against him, to begin the healing, saying, \u201cthe black propaganda and false accusations are just clearly part of the days\u2019 work in an election.\u201d<\/p>\n

Duterte is offering his hand to the four of his presidential opponents especially the past few days have been virulent for all of them. He said all of them have been ruffled terribly and hurt by the black propaganda including the \u201cwhole kitchen sink to his direction.<\/p>\n

\u201cLet us forget and start the healing. Let us be friends. Let us forget the travails of the elections,\u201d he called out.<\/p>\n

When asked if no one of his opponents wanted to accept the goodwill, Duterte said, \u201cFine.\u201d<\/p>\n

He said he has deep and abiding faith in God although he admitted, \u201cI am a free-range believer in God.\u201d He said he believes in the \u201ceternal law of karma\u201d, do good and you will be rewarded with goodness\u2026 do bad and karma takes over.<\/p>\n

While this election is his 11th with zero defeat, Duterte refused to answer any possible victory. \u201cI ain\u2019t there until I am there,\u201d he told the press, emphasizing delicadeza as it is still too early to give everybody the crisps.<\/p>\n

Duterte said he can go down in defeat and go up in victory. \u201cI am hopeful and I pray to God. IF he wants me there I will accept it. I will retire from public life,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
