{"id":71052,"date":"2016-02-21T07:10:01","date_gmt":"2016-02-21T12:10:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/canadianinquirer.net\/v1\/?p=71052"},"modified":"2016-02-21T07:10:01","modified_gmt":"2016-02-21T12:10:01","slug":"zootopia-head-writer-is-filipino","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/canadianinquirer.net\/v1\/2016\/02\/21\/zootopia-head-writer-is-filipino\/","title":{"rendered":"\u2018Zootopia\u2019 head writer is Filipino!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>MANILA \u2013 Filipino-American Josie Trinidad is co-head of story of Disney\u2019s newest animated film, \u201cZootopia\u201d \u2013 she is another Filipino carving a name in the global animation stage.<\/p>\n<p>It was in 2004 when Trinidad joined Disney Animation Studios where she was first trained as a story apprentice and then hired as a story artist. She helped make Disney movies \u201cThe Princess and the Frog,\u201d \u201cTangled,\u201d \u201cWreck-It Ralph,\u201d and some other short films.<\/p>\n<p>In Zootopia, Josie\u00a0admitted being relatable with Judy Hopps, the lead character who moved to a big city and struggled to find a place in it.
