MANILA \u2013 Kapamilya actress Claudine Barretto and her estranged husband, Raymart Santiago, are not in a hurry with their annulment case after reconciling and becoming \u2018friends\u2019 again.<\/p>\n

\u201cHindi pa rin kami nag<\/em>–start sa annulment<\/em>. So<\/em>, stop muna kami sa annulment<\/em>\u2026 Kami ni Raymart ngayon<\/em>, we<\/em>\u2019re<\/em> really very good friends<\/em>. We<\/em>\u2019re<\/em> really trying our best to be good parents<\/em>. Kasi nga<\/em>, nag<\/em>–fail na kami as husband and wife sa mga anak namin so we don<\/em>\u2019t<\/em> wanna fail as parents naman<\/em>,\u201d Barretto said in a press conference.<\/p>\n

(We haven\u2019t started with the annulment yet. So, we\u2019ll stop the annulment for now\u2026 Raymart and I, we\u2019re really very good friends. We\u2019re really trying our best to be good parents. Because, we already failed as husband and wife to our children so we don\u2019t wanna fail as parents this time.)<\/p>\n

\u201cNapag<\/em>–usapan namin na i<\/em>–stop na lahat<\/em>–lahat ng mga kaso and mag<\/em>–co<\/em>–parenting na lang kami sa pagpapalaki ng mga anak namin<\/em>\u2026 Sabi ko kasi sa kanya<\/em>, \u2018Ano na<\/em>? Mag<\/em>–a<\/em>–annulment na ba tayo<\/em>? May girlfriend ka na ba<\/em>?\u2019 Sabi niya<\/em>, hindi na daw siya ikakasal<\/em>. Sabi ko<\/em>, \u2018Ayoko na rin<\/em>,\u2019\u201d she added.<\/p>\n

(We agreed to stop all the cases and start co-parenting in raising our kids instead\u2026 I told him, \u2018What now? \u00a0Will we have an annulment? Do you already have a girlfriend?\u2019 He said, he won\u2019t get married again. I said, \u2018Same with me.\u2019)<\/p>\n

Barretto and Santiago have then decided not to have an annulment anytime soon. The 36-year-old actress, however, clarified that they are not getting back together but are \u2018trying to be the best of friends for our kids.\u2019<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
