MANILA \u2013 Philippines\u2019 Christi Lynn Mc Garry was named the first runner-up in this year\u2019s Miss Intercontinental, while Russia\u2019s Valentina Rasulova was given the crown at the coronation night held on December 18 (Philippine time: December 19) in Magdeburg, Germany.<\/p>\n

Brianne Bailey from the U.S., Katherine Garcia from Venezuela, and Tendai Bongani from Zimbabwe were the second, third and fourth runner-ups, respectively.<\/p>\n

The five beauties bested 70 other national delegates in the pageant\u2019s 44th edition.<\/p>\n

With some questioning her earlier win at the Binibining Pilipinas tilt, McGarry proved herself by bagging a place in the international pageant and receiving the title Miss Intercontinental-Asia and Oceania.<\/p>\n

It can be recalled that the 25-year-old beauty queen has already represented the country in the same pageant back in 2010 where she landed a Top 10 spot and also received the Miss Asia and Oceania title.<\/p>\n

At present, the Philippines has not yet taken home the crown as Kris Tiffany won second runner-up in 2014 and Maria Soveitskaya also placed second in 1993.<\/p>\n
