Grace Poe from 2016 presidential race, she is set to attend the presidential forum on Wednesday, meeting the community business leaders at the Solaire Resort in Pasay City.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The Comelec Second Division disqualified Poe\u2019s certificate of candidacy for presidency for her failure of not meeting the 10-year residency requirement for presidential candidates mandated by the 1987 Philippine Constitution.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">\u201cWe would like to declare the respondent who seeks the highest position in the land within the gift of our people, it is our duty to resolve this case by applying the Constitution, law, jurisprudence, and none other. However, Poe is not only popular, but she is potentially a good leader,\u201d the Comelec decision read.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">However, Poe will make an appeal before the full session of the Comelec.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Being disappointed with the decision, she still vowed to continue the fight for the rights and foundlings and the people\u2019s right to choose their leaders.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Poe said that she have faith in the process and is confident enough that Comelec en banc will take the side the people\u2019s interest.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>MANILA, PHILIPPINES &#8211; After the Commission on Elections (Comelec) disqualified Sen.
