The\u00a0Philippine Canadian Inquirer<\/a>, the first and only Filipino newspaper in Canada, is looking for competent, eager, and spirited JUNIOR WRITERS to join our growing team!<\/p>\n

Job Description<\/strong>
\n– Provide at least ten (10) Philippine news articles daily (to be assigned by Head of Online Content)
\n– Write one to two original articles every week for the PCI newspaper
\n– Conduct assigned research, if needed
\n– Cover certain events, if needed<\/p>\n

Qualifications<\/strong>
\n– Above average English skills (written and spoken)
\n– Good researching skills
\n– Journalism\/writing experience a must
\n– Able to use WordPress proficiently
\n– Abreast with the latest news; innate interest in current events a plus
\n– Can create excellent output with minimal supervision
\n– Proficient in Microsoft Office tools
\n– Basic working knowledge of cameras a plus
\n– Willing to go the extra mile to deliver quality output
\n– Amenable to work in Makati City five (5) days a week<\/p>\n
