My family is pitiful, we have been very insulted,\u201d said Di\u00f1o in Filipino to Rappler during a press conference.<\/p>\n<p>Since Di\u00f1o has withdrew his bid for presidency, PDP-Laban will push through with their resolution to replace Di\u00f1o with Duterte.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We are giving the slot to Rody Duterte,\u201d said Di\u00f1o in Filipino<\/p>\n<p>Mike Sue\u00f1o, national chairman of PDP-Laban said that they are only waiting for Duterte\u2019s response to their offer before they could file a request for substitution.<\/p>\n<p>The deadline for filing a request for substitution is until December 10, 2015.<\/p>\n<p>Davao Mayor Rodrigo Duterte who has said numerous times before that he would not be running for president has not yet commented on Di\u00f1o\u2019s withdrawal.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Martin Di\u00f1o, presidential bet of Partido Demokratiko Pilipino Lakas ng Bayan (PDP-Laban) has withdrawn today his candidacy for president.
