Grace Poe\u2019s \u201clean resume\u201d has less political baggage than any other presidential candidates and this could be her best credential as she runs for presidential post in polls next year.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\"> \u201cWe need you and you need the government to be an enabler and I think that even if they say that my resume is quite lean compared to the others in terms of my length of service in the public sector,\u201d Poe said in a report by Christina Mendez of The Philippine Star.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">In her reaction to attacks from the supporters of Liberal Party, Poe stated that her resume is \u201clean enough\u201d that she \u201cdoesn\u2019t have the added baggage that is not necessary to be able to be successful in government.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">In a report by The Philippine Star, Poe also vowed that she would do away with partisan politics and prevent a divisive kind of leadership. She did not particularly hit the way President Aquino managed his administration, which others perceived as marked by vindictiveness.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">She also stated that she doesn\u2019t care if people won\u2019t vote for her, saying that as long as one can do their job, they\u2019re in. \u201cIf you are from the private sector, perhaps, I can convince you to take a six-year sabbatical of poverty, knowing how much less you are going to be paid in the public sector,\u201d she added.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Poe expressed her thoughts in a forum of the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry in lieu of 41st Philippine Business Conference and Expo held at Marriott Hotel in Pasay City. Grace Poe initially intended not to attend the forum but she arrived after presidential contenders Sen. Miriam Defensor-Santiago, Vice President Jejomar Binay and LP standard-bearer Manuel Roxas II who took the podium and presented themselves in front of the business leaders.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>MANILA, PHILIPPINES &#8211; Sen.
