(Contributed photo)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Love, they say, blooms in the most unexpected places.<\/p>\n<p>The hashtag #DangwaGirl went viral recently as university belt students posted about a mysterious girl giving roses away on the streets of Manila. The lovely flower girl was revealed on GMA\u2019s 24 Oras newscast as Janine Gutierrez \u2013 who found a unique way to promote her upcoming series.\u00a0 Janine spent a day giving out red roses to strangers she met along the way, similar to her role in the Network\u2019s upcoming series entitled <em>Dangwa<\/em>.\u00a0\u00a0The recipients &#8211; particularly the young men \u2013 were thrilled and quickly posted their encounters on social media.<\/p>\n<p>In the <em>Dangwa<\/em>\u00a0series, the lives of various characters are changed by a chance meeting with Rosa (to be played by Janine), an enchantingly beautiful flower vendor in Manila\u2019s most popular flower market.<\/p>\n<p>Each character who buys\u00a0a flower from Rosa will discover\u00a0that love\u00a0unexpectedly blooms in his or her own life.\u00a0 A new love story will be introduced to viewers every Monday and end on a Frida&#8230; except for the story of Rosa herself, which will slowly unfold as the season progresses.<\/p>\n<p>Rosa\u2019s\u00a0heartwarming smile and mischievous ways capture the\u00a0hearts of flower delivery boy Baste (played by Mark Herras) and furniture designer Lorenzo (played by Aljur Abrenica), but there is more to the girl than they ever expected.<\/p>\n<p><em>Dangwa<\/em>\u2019s pilot week, which stars Kapuso teens Barbie Forteza and Ruru Madrid, is penned by Jerome Zamora and directed by Adolf Alix, Jr. and Rember Gelera.
