Mayroon naman akong paninindigan<\/em>. I respect everyone in my family and I love everyone in my family, including her (Poe). <em>Kasi kung wala akong concern<\/em>, I won\u2019t speak up,\u201d Cruz said in a Philippine Entertainment Portal report.<\/p>\n<p>(What I\u2019ve said, I won\u2019t retract\u2026 That\u2019s my [opinion]. I have my own conviction. I respect everyone in my family and I love everyone in my family, including her. Because if I\u2019m not concerned, I won\u2019t speak up.)<\/p>\n<p>\u201c<em>Concerned ako sa aking pinsan. Ayokong mangyari sa kanya kung ano ang nangyari kay Uncle Ronnie (Fernando Poe Jr.) before<\/em> (I\u2019m concerned towards my cousin. I don\u2019t want her to experience what Uncle Ronnie experienced before),\u201d she added, referring to FPJ\u2019s candidacy in the 2004 presidential elections.<\/p>\n<p>Cruz reiterated that everyone was entitled to their own opinions and that she was hurt that a lot have reacted negatively on her statement.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c<em>Masyado lang naging malaki yung reaksiyon na hindi naman dapat ganun\u2026 Ang sa akin lang, lahat naman tayo may karapatan sa ating mga sariling opinion<\/em> (The [people\u2019s] reaction was too much and unnecessary\u2026 For me, we all have rights to our own opinions),\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>Still not able to talk to Poe or her aunt Susan Roces since the issue started, she stressed that her communication line was always open.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThey all know that. <em>Wala naman akong hindi kinakausap\u2026 Hindi pa kami nagkakausap kasi nga busy kami sa taping [ng mga teleserye], at saka pumunta nga ako ng Brunei recently<\/em>,\u201d she said, clarifying that she was in good terms with her relatives.<\/p>\n<p>(They all know that. There\u2019s no one I don\u2019t talk to\u2026 We\u2019re just not able to talk yet because we\u2019re busy with tapings, and I\u2019ve been to Brunei recently.)<\/p>\n<p>With rumors that the reason why she was unsupportive of Poe was because she felt insecure over her cousin\u2019s achievements and capabilities, Cruz simply dismissed such issues and maintained that she did not have any ulterior motive with her previous statements.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c<em>Masama yung mainggit. Ang inggit ko ay hindi inggit na nakakasira para sa akin\u2026 Inggit na sana isang araw maging kasing galing ko rin siya. It\u2019s a constructive thing, ayoko ng negative<\/em>,\u201d she said. \u201c<em>Hindi ko gusto na naiinggit kasi ang inggit nakakamatay iyon, e. At hindi lang ganun, you have to get over your insecurities in life, whatever they may be<\/em>.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>(It\u2019s not good to be envious. My desire is not one which destroys me\u2026 Desire to someday be as good as her. It\u2019s a constructive thing, I don\u2019t want negativity. I don\u2019t want to be envious because it kills.
