Its producer and distributor Joji Alonso disclosed that the film has already grossed P180,434,088.<\/p>\n<p>Despite a weak opening, Heneral Luna\u2019s popularity and sales were boosted by word-of-mouth and a strong social media presence.<\/p>\n<p>From earning P15,333,299 in its first week, Alonso shared that the historical epic grossed P44,066,423 in its second week and further reached P104,010,219 in its third week.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHeneral Luna \u2013 P19,565,912 left to reach 200M and break even after grossing another P8,086,507 yesterday.
