[It] is approved by the President. Of course, all the projects are approved by the President,\u201d Abad said in a Philippine Star report.<\/p>\n<p>The Budget Secretary was among the other Malaca\u00f1ang officials whose possible culpability over the DAP has been probed. Aquino, on the other hand, was spared from the investigation because of the immunity from suit accorded to him while in office.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThat\u2019s the finding of the Ombudsman so that\u2019s it and I think, for me, that\u2019s fine because you know the President has to be busy doing what he has to be doing\u2026 so I would want him not to have any distraction,\u201d he said in an interview after a budget hearing.<\/p>\n<p>Abad, however, asserted that the DAP was passed in good faith.<\/p>\n<p><strong>DAP probe just \u2018drama\u2019<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Vice President Jejomar \u201cJojo\u201d Binay, who has declared himself as the leader of the opposition, earlier scoffed at the Ombudsman\u2019s investigation over the DAP and Aquino\u2019s immunity from suit.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDrama. Nothing will happen there. If that is true, they should be suspended already\u2026 The people who committed wrongdoings under this administration, especially Mr. Abad should be held accountable,\u201d Binay said in an interview.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s not good to enforce selective justice.
