candidacy today, several political party members and show business personalities have been said to be supporters and possible attendees in her declaration.<\/p>\n<p>According to an unnamed source, Poe has been scheduled to make her announcement at the University of the Philippines campus around 6 p.m. today.<\/p>\n<p>She will be delivering a 12-minute speech and will present her platform of government, including the \u2018core principles and programs guiding her run for public office.\u2019<\/p>\n<p>Hours before her declaration, allies and supporters have started putting up posters and banners with texts \u2018Grace Poe 2016,\u2019 \u2018Sama-sama Poe\u2019 and \u2018Tuloy na Poe\u2019 surrounding the venue.<\/p>\n<p>Some of the celebrity couples who have been supporters of the neophyte senator were Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera, Ogie Alcasid and Regine Velasquez, Zoren Legazpi and Carmina Villaroel, and Richard Gomez and Lucy Torres-Gomez, said the same source.<\/p>\n<p>Among the political parties, the Nationalist People\u2019s Coalition (NPC), National Unity Party (NUP), Makabayan bloc, and the An Waray group were said to be gathering and making a coalition in support of Poe\u2019s presidential bid.<\/p>\n<p>Should Poe indeed join the presidential race in next year\u2019s national elections, she will be going against Vice President Jejomar \u201cJojo\u201d Binay and former Interior Secretary Manuel \u201cMar\u201d Roxas II who have earlier announced their interest in seeking the country\u2019s highest
