MANILA \u2013 According to a report, photos showing the death of international terrorist Zulkifi bin Hir, alias \u201cMarwan,\u201d were evidences that the Special Action Force (SAF) were the ones who killed him.<\/p>\n

An ABS-CBN source provided the photos. Seen in the photos were SAF police commandos inside the hut with the dead body of Marwan.<\/p>\n

Senior Inspector Gednat Tabdi was also captured cutting the right index finger of the terrorist. The index finger confirmed that the man killed was indeed the wanted Malaysian bomber.<\/p>\n

These photos disputed the Moro Islamic Liberation Front\u2019s (MILF) claims that Marwan was killed by his aides, Datucan Singgagao and Candao Langalan.<\/p>\n

Diverting the truth<\/strong><\/p>\n

Retired Director Getulio Nape\u00f1as shunned the MILF\u2019s version of Marwan\u2019s killing.<\/p>\n

\u201cPwede naman palang iabot sa silver platter, bakit kinailangan pang pumasok ang tropa namin for operations na ganyan? Namatayan pa kami nang marami<\/em>,\u201d Nape\u00f1as said.<\/p>\n

(If they could hand him over in a silver platter, why did our troops have to conduct for operations like that? We lost a lot of men.)<\/p>\n

The former SAF chief, however, admitted that they did not obtain evidences and information from Marwan\u2019s camp in their investigations but he believed that the MILF report was only a distraction from the fact that MILF troops killed the 44 SAF men.<\/p>\n

\u201cGusto nilang i-divert yung katotohanan na MILF ang pumatay dun sa 44\u2026 Wala pang katarungan sa kanila <\/em>(They want to divert the truth that the MILF killed the 44\u2026 They (SAF 44) have not yet been served justice),\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

Forty-four of the SAF troopers were killed in a gun battle with the MILF during the police commandos\u2019 covert operation to capture Marwan.<\/p>\n

President Benigno \u201cNoynoy\u201d Aquino III, for his part, assured that the MILF\u2019s \u2018alternative truth\u2019 on Marwan\u2019s death will be investigated upon.<\/p>\n
