(Photo from MMDA&#8217;s official Facebook page)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>MANILA \u2013 MMDA chairman Francis Tolentino experienced firsthand the horrendous traffic condition on EDSA, missing his appearance at ANC\u2019s \u201cHeadstart\u201d on Thursday morning.<\/p>\n<p>Tolentino was supposed to be a guest at the 8 a.m. news show but failing to arrive in the studio on time, he was instead interviewed through a phone call.<\/p>\n<p>While his interview was ongoing, the MMDA chairman remained stuck on EDSA. And by the time he arrived in ANC\u2019s studio at around 9 a.m., Headstart was already signing off.<\/p>\n<p>He later on explained that a car accident occurred near EDSA Santolan, which contributed to the already heavy traffic that morning.<\/p>\n<p>Tolentino has been working together with the Philippine National Police-Highway Patrol Group (PNP-HPG) in trying to solve Metro Manila\u2019s traffic problem.
