MANILA — For Senator Juan Ponce Enrile, another plunder case against him is “too much.”<\/p>\n

\u201cSa akin? (To me?) One more time so what\u2019s the difference? Multiple plunder. Sobra na yata yun (I think that\u2019s too much),\u201d Enrile said, responding to a reporter\u2019s question that another plunder case was filed against him.<\/p>\n

This was the Senator’s reaction to a new complaint filed against him at the\u00a0Office of the Ombudsman in connection with his pork barrel funds.<\/p>\n

Enrile was accused of allegedly channeling \u00a0the said funds to questionable non-government organizations (NGOs) linked to Janet Lim Napoles.<\/p>\n

The Senator however said, “We’ll see,” when told that the case was\u00a0just a malversation case, and not plunder.<\/p>\n

When asked about his reaction to Ombudsman reported plan to appeal the Supreme Court’s decision on his bail, Enrile said:<\/p>\n

\u201cThat\u2019s their right, they can go ahead,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
