Aquino&#8217;s 6th State of the Nation Address (Photo courtesy of Poe&#8217;s official Facebook page)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>MANILA &#8212; Senators Grace Poe and Francis \u201cChiz\u201d Escudero have hinted at running for president and vice president, respectively, in next year\u2019s polls during Tuesday\u2019s night fellowship of the Nationalist People\u2019s Coalition (NPC) after discussing different concerns of its members for inclusion to their \u201cplatform of government,\u201d a party stalwart disclosed Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p>While they did not declare running to higher position,Batangas Rep. Giorgidi \u201cGigi\u201d Aggabao, the NPC president confirmed that Poe discussed the concerns of NPC members whom he identified as \u201cgovernors.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere was no talk of politics although Sen. Grace did discuss some problems with governors besetting their provinces,\u201d said Aggabao.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt was purely socials, a gathering for the party members to meet in person Sen. Sherwin Gatchalian, a declared senatorial candidate and NPC stalwart, said the event Tuesday night was a good opportunity to meet Poe and Escudero.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMaganda naman po ang nangyari kagabi. It was a good time to get to know each other,\u201d said Gatchalian.<\/p>\n<p>The NPC is the second largest political party in the country with two senators, 47 members in the House of Representatives, 14 governors, and 22 city mayors.<\/p>\n<p>The NPC stalwarts who attended the fellowship were Aggabao, Mendoza, Sen.
