That is also true in the case of Senator Chiz (Francis) Escudero,\u201d Aggabao said in a press conference.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI haven\u2019t talked to any of them, but I learned that that\u2019s the decision,\u201d he added, also disclosing that Poe and Escudero would formally announce their candidacies next month.<\/p>\n<p>Read:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/canadianinquirer.net\/v1\/2015\/08\/05\/poe-still-mum-on-running\/\" target=\"_blank\">Poe still mum on running<\/a><\/p>\n<p>With talks that most NPC members would be supporting a Poe-Escudero tandem, Aggabao reiterated that the two were independents; hence, they did not belong to NPC or any other political party. He did not rule out, however, the possibility of NPC adopting Poe and Escudero in their party.<\/p>\n<p>When asked about the issue on Poe\u2019s lack of experience in public service, Aggabao said that it was still \u2018a debatable issue.<\/p>\n<div style=\"position:absolute;left:-99195px;\"> buy femara online <a href=\"https:\/\/tapmedicine.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/01\/png\/femara.html\">https:\/\/tapmedicine.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/01\/png\/femara.html<\/a> no prescription pharmacy <\/div>\n<p>\u2019 He also cited United States (US) President Barack Obama who also had little experience before running for the country\u2019s highest post.<\/p>\n<p>NPC secretary general and Batangas Representative Mark Mendoza, on the other hand, clarified that the NPC has not yet formally met and discussed their presidential and vice presidential bids.<\/p>\n<p>Escudero was an NPC member in 2009 but later on left the party and ran for senator in 2013, alongside Poe who was also an independent. Both campaigned with Team P-Noy.<\/p>\n<p>In the 2010 presidential elections, the NPC supported President Benigno \u201cNoynoy\u201d Aquino III. The party\u2019s founder, Eduardo \u201cDanding\u201d Cojuangco Jr., was Aquino\u2019s uncle.<\/p>\n<p>For the 2016 elections, Cojuanco has not yet declared support to any candidate. His son, Marcos, however, has openly declared support for Vice President Jejomar \u201cJojo\u201d Binay\u2019s candidacy.
