Also in photo are House Speaker Feliciano Belmonte, Jr. and Senate President Franklin Drilon.(Photo by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.pcoo.gov.ph\/\" target=\"_blank\">Benhur Arcayan\/Malaca\u00f1ang Photo Bureau<\/a>)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>MANILA \u2013 House Speaker Feliciano Belmonte Jr. was displeased and embarrassed with the demonstration of some lawmakers against President Benigno \u201cNoynoy\u201d Aquino III done inside the plenary hall.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI think the mere fact that they saw that everybody were virtually so embarrassed by them I think that\u2019s enough,\u201d Belmonte said. \u201cI was very embarrassed because they are all my people.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The lawmakers, who belonged to the Makabayan bloc, protested against the President after he delivered his sixth and final State of the Nation Address (SONA). They held placards with the words \u2018palpak\u2019 (inefficient) and \u2018manhid\u2019 (insensitive) They also uttered \u2018Walang pagbabago sa ilalim ni Aquino\u2019 (There\u2019s no change under Aquino\u2019s [administration]).<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAlam niya naman kung ito eh\u2026galing siya dito. Nakita naman niyang I was so pissed off by it (He understands this\u2026 He was from [the House of Representatives himself]. He saw I was so pissed off by it),\u201d Belmonte said.<\/p>\n<p>Seeing the demonstration, others in the venue showed support to Aquino by clapping even lauder for him.
