(Facebook photo)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>MANILA &#8212; Senator Francis Escudero on Monday said that he and Senator Grace Poe will ensure the constitutionality of the draft Bangsamoro Basic Law (BBL).<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe would like to assure the public that Senator Poe and I are one with the Filipino people in their aspiration for a just and lasting peace in Mindanao.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>He also clarified earlier reports of them saying that they are against the measure.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We join them in every step in seeking solutions that will bring not only peace but also prosperity to all our brothers and sisters in the region,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Escudero said that they will not become obstructionists against the draft, instead, they will make sure that the bill will not violate the constitution.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe will not allow any legislation that would go against the Constitution, which is the fundamental law of the land.
