I\u2019d like to devote my time and energy to my family and our business.<\/p>\n<p>Jinkee said that she wants to give way to others who aim for the position.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMy husband is the congressman of the province. To me, having one member of the family actively involved in politics is already enough. Let\u2019s give others a chance.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMy role was just to maintain the unity and stability of the party [People\u2019s Champ Movement]. I\u2019ve done my part so I\u2019m leaving politics for good,&#8221; she added.<\/p>\n<p>Jinkee also shared that during her term, she did not receive any salary as a government official.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt goes to the solicitations flooding my office,\u201d she added.<\/p>\n<p>After her term ends, Jinkee said she wants to go full-time on her family specially her children, who transferred to General Santos City.<\/p>\n<p>The couple decided to transfer their kids to study in the province from the prestigous Brent International School.<\/p>\n<p>Their children\u00a0Emmanuel Jimuel Jr. 14, Michael Stephen, 13, Mary Divine Grace, 8, at Queen Elizabeth, 6 are now enrolled in Hope Christian School.<\/p>\n<p>Manny earlier said that he wants his children to experience living the kind of life he had as a poor child in General Santos.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>MANILA &#8212; Sarangani Vice Governor Jinkee Pacquiao is retiring from politics after her term ends in 2016.
