Photo courtesy of Junjun Binay&#8217;s Facebook page.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>MANILA \u2013 Joey Salgado, spokesman of suspended Makati Mayor Jejomar Erwin \u2018JunJun\u2019 Binay, vehemently denied the reports that Vice President Jejomar Binay\u2019s secretary Eduviges &#8221;Ebeng&#8221; Baloloy received her retirement check from the city hall before the mayor decided to step down from his post on July 1.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cContrary to the report, Baloloy has not received her retirement pay,\u201d Salgado said in a text message, as quoted in a report from The Philippine Star. \u201cThere is a process before employees of the city hall can get their retirement benefits. They should first secure clearances from different departments. The process alone would take several weeks.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Salgado also addressed the reports of Baloloy still collecting her salary despite her sudden disappearance six months ago.
