MANILA — Former Senator Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan topped the latest Social Weather Stations survey for the most preferred senatorial candidates in the 2016 elections.<\/p>\n

Pangilinan who is currently the presidential assistant for food security and agricultural modernization leads the survey with 60 percent.<\/p>\n

He was followed by former presidential assistant on rehabilitation and recovery, Senator Panfilo “Ping” Lacson with 51 percent.<\/p>\n

Sen. Vicente “Tito” Sotto III followed in the list with 50 percent and Senate President Franklin Drilon with 42 percent.<\/p>\n

They were followed by Senators Ralph Recto and Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos with 41 percent and Taguig City Rep. Lino Edgardo Cayetano with 40 percent.<\/p>\n

Justice Secretary Leila de Lima landed on the eighth spot with 33 percent followed by Sen. Sergio Osme\u00f1a III and Sarangani Rep. Manny Pacquiao with 32 percent.<\/p>\n

Former Sen. Richard “Dick” Gordon was also in the list with 31 percent and Sen. Teofisto TG Guingona III with 28 percent.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
