Calinga)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>MANILA &#8212; Former Senator Francis &#8220;Kiko&#8221; Pangilinan topped the latest Social Weather Stations survey for the most preferred senatorial candidates in the 2016 elections.<\/p>\n<p>Pangilinan who is currently the presidential assistant for food security and agricultural modernization leads the survey with 60 percent.<\/p>\n<p>He was followed by former presidential assistant on rehabilitation and recovery, Senator Panfilo &#8220;Ping&#8221; Lacson with 51 percent.<\/p>\n<p>Sen. Vicente &#8220;Tito&#8221; Sotto III followed in the list with 50 percent and Senate President Franklin Drilon with 42 percent.<\/p>\n<p>They were followed by Senators Ralph Recto and Ferdinand &#8220;Bongbong&#8221; Marcos with 41 percent and Taguig City Rep. Lino Edgardo Cayetano with 40 percent.<\/p>\n<p>Justice Secretary Leila de Lima landed on the eighth spot with 33 percent followed by Sen. Sergio Osme\u00f1a III and Sarangani Rep. Manny Pacquiao with 32 percent.<\/p>\n<p>Former Sen. Richard &#8220;Dick&#8221; Gordon was also in the list with 31 percent and Sen.
