Sinend ko muna \u2018yung mga [interview] questions. Sabi niya, \u2018Kaya mo \u2018yan.\u2019 Tapos thumbs up. Tapos tumawag siya. Tapos sabi ko, \u2018Mart, questions lang, friends ba tayo?\u2019 Tawa siya nang tawa. Tapos sabi niya, \u2018Oo, friends na.\u2019\u201d Barretto said.<\/p>\n<p>(I called him. I first sent the questions. He said, \u2018You can do it.\u2019 Then he gave a thumbs up. After that, he called. And I said, \u2018Mart, just a question, are we friends?\u2019 He laughed and laughed. \u00a0Then he said, \u2018Yes, [we\u2019re] friends now.\u2019)<\/p>\n<p>\u201cKasi hindi ko alam kung ano isasagot. Civil ba o friends na? Tapos, oo friends na daw. So, friends na kami,\u201d she added.<\/p>\n<p>(Because I didn\u2019t know what to answer. Civil or friends? And then, yes [he said we\u2019re] friends now. So, we\u2019re friends.)<\/p>\n<p>It can be recalled that Barretto and Santiago have separated in 2013. Their controversial separation even involved legal charges filed against each other with regards to the custody of their children and domestic violence.<\/p>\n<p>Fortunately, the estranged couple has been able to settle their rift later on for the sake of their two children Sabina and Santino.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTalagang pinaupo niya (Judge Geraldine Macaraeg) kami at pinaintindi na, \u2018Hindi tama itong ginagawa ninyo.
