Antonio Trillanes IV on Thursday announced that he is 100 percent sure that he will run for Vice President in next year&#8217;s polls.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I am 100 percent sure na tatakbo ako for vice president sa 2016,&#8221; Trillanes said during a Senate forum.<\/p>\n<p>Trillanes earlier expressed interest to run for the post but he hasn&#8217;t made any confirmation until Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I intend to run for a higher office. Ang preference ko ay&#8230; is vice president. Pero hinahayaan ko yung partido namin, yung Nacionalista party to decide,&#8221; Trillanes said earlier in an interview for &#8220;Kris TV.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>(I prefer to run as Vice President but I&#8217;m letting our party, the Nacionalista party to decide.)<\/p>\n<p>He scored 5 percent \u00a0in the latest Pulse Asia Survey for the most preferred presidential candidates.<\/p>\n<p>Poe is currently the leading presidential and vice presidential bet in surveys for the 2016 elections.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>MANILA &#8212; Sen.
