Grace Poe yesterday said that she will no longer present her committee&#8217;s findings on the Mamasapano incident.<\/p>\n<p>On earlier reports, Poe&#8217;s committee found that President Aquino is &#8220;ultimately liable&#8221; for the incident which killed 44 members of the police Special Action Force (SAF).<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe is ultimately responsible for the outcome of the Mamasapano mission,\u201d Poe said in a press conference last March.<\/p>\n<p>Poe, however said that she will not present the report to the plenary.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cReport is about facts and findings. The ombudsman acknowledged receipt of our recommendations. I will no longer present in plenary. The BBL plenary discussion can tackle any remaining questions on Mamasapano,\u201d Poe said.<\/p>\n<p>The senator heads the Senate committee on peace and order and dangerous drugs, which lead the investigation on the Mamasapano incident.<\/p>\n<p>Senate President Franklin Drilon also said that the report is already considered submitted before the plenary.<\/p>\n<p>This is though the senator has not reported it officially before the congressional recess last week.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s submitted and if Sen. Grace would want to calendar it during the break for adoption, she can. But right now, it is already filed,\u201d Drilon said.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>MANILA &#8212; Sen.
