And let us give him that window if he decides one way or the other,\u201d presidential spokesman Edwin Lacierda\u00a0said in a news briefing.<\/p>\n<p>This came after reports on Binay&#8217;s statements against the administration&#8217;s &#8220;daang matuwid&#8221; (straight path) which he said might be a misnomer after all.<\/p>\n<p>Lacierda, however, clarified that they believe that Binay is not speaking ill of the administration.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Like I said: Who\u2019s campaigning? It\u2019s his choice of words. It\u2019s his choice of perspective if he decides to say one thing\u2026 What he considers campaigning, we consider as working for the continuity of daang matuwid,\u201d he said adding that people\u00a0\u201chave a different view of what the government is doing.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>MANILA &#8212; The decision on whether to leave the Cabinet or not is up to Vice President Jejomar Binay.
