(Wikipedia photo)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The Filipino community in Rome, Italy called for justice for Filipina worker Corazon Abordo who died from a hit-and-run accident last month.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAng hustisya na gusto natin ay magkaroon ng katarungan, kapayapaan ang pamilya at maparusahan ang mga katulad ng mga ito. She was crossing towards the Battistini Metro Station when a speeding vehicle driven by a minor approached her. She was then hit and immediately died on the spot. \u00a0Two other Filipinos were also crossing the same lane and sustained injuries.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIyong injured ay Ms. Teotima Iguia at Ms. Lourdes Dellupac. Based from the last update we obtained, Teotima and Lourdes Dellupac are now recovering. They were injured but are now slowly recovering.)<\/p>\n<p>During the rally, Abordo\u2019s supporters held placards with words \u201cGuistizia\u201d and \u201cJustice for Cory.\u201d They also prayed for Abordo and her family.
