With the gathering earlier I expected that \u2018Curious\u2019 was going to win and \u2018Fun Home\u2019 was gonna win. You know, I\u2019m happy to lose it to them,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m so glad Filipinos are\u2026we\u2019re more visible. That\u2019s why I\u2019m excited to go home and talk to other people. I have a few plans for the performing arts in Asia,\u201d he added, already planning new shows to produce on Broadway.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time\u201d and \u201cFun Home\u201d were awarded the Tony for best play and best revival play, respectively.<\/p>\n<p>For her song performance in musical play \u201cGigi,\u201d Fil-Am Vanessa Hudgens could not be more overjoyed.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhen you\u2019re doing what you love, it fuels you. Like you know this, performers know this. It gives you so much joy and pleasure doing what you love\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, Tony winner Lea Salonga\u2019s most awaited return to Broadway via musical \u201cAllegiance\u201d had kept the theatre community abuzz.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cGlorious voice. Her voice is crystal clear. I don\u2019t need to describe her. She is magnificent.
