Ferdinand &#8216;Bongbong&#8217; Marcos being interviewed at the Senate of the Philippines (Facebook photo)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>MANILA \u2013 Senator Ferdinand \u201cBongbong\u201d Marcos on Wednesday pushed for the passage of local bills naming two roads after the parents of President Benigno Aquino III.<\/p>\n<p>Marcos, chairman of the Senate committee on public works, sponsored House Bill No. 4400 and 4398 seeking to name the circumferential road in Iloilo City as \u201cPresident Cory C. Aquino Avenue, and the national highway along Iloilo diversion road as \u201cSenator Benigno S. Aquino Jr. Avenue,\u201d respectively.<\/p>\n<p>Marcos also sponsored House Bill No. 1042 aimed at naming a diversion road in Leyte as \u201cGovernor Benjamin \u2018Kokoy\u2019 T.
