Ramon &#8216;Bong&#8217; Revilla (screenshot from YouTube footage)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>MANILA &#8212; Senator Ramon Revilla Jr. considers running in the 2016 elections adding that there is no law that hinders him to do so.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Wala naman batas na nagbabawal tumakbo ang isang nakakulong,&#8221; Revilla said as quoted in a report for ABS-CBN.<\/p>\n<p>(There&#8217;s no law that stops imprisoned persons from running.)<\/p>\n<p>Revilla made the statement following the cancellation of his hearing on Thursday morning.<\/p>\n<p>His petition for bail was denied by the court December last year and was then scheduled for a pre-trial conference.<\/p>\n<p>The senator, meanwhile, admitted that the cases filed against him had negative impact on his image.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Maraming nalason.
