(Photo by Lauro Montellano Jr.\/Malaca\u00f1ang Photo Bureau\/PNA)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>MANILA &#8212; The National Economic Development Authority (NEDA) Board on Tuesday approved transportation, irrigation, fire safety and local development projects.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThese projects are part of our strategy to make the Philippines\u2019 agriculture, industry, and services sectors more competitive.
